　　在2011年国庆黄金周期间，我们将面向广大外语爱好者，举办多语种诵经、寺院生活体验、与法师对话、静坐体验、生命主题讲座、多语种影片导视、户外善行实践、大朝山、智慧传灯晚会等一系列独特的文化生活体验活动。通过五天密集而引人入胜的日程安排，围绕着生命的宗旨、生活的意义、生存的方式、生死的问题等主题，把佛教2000多年来跨越时空所传承的人生智慧与现代生活相结合，希望借此为您带来光明与欢喜，并播下安乐丰足的希望种子！

一、活动时间：2011年10月2日～10月6日
二、活动地点：北京市海淀区龙泉寺路27号北京龙泉寺
三、报名及录取条件：
　　1. 招收范围：广大外语爱好者；
　　2. 参加者身心健康，无突发性及传染性疾病；
　　3. 能全程参加者优先，录满为止；
　　4. 申请报名须填写报名表（附近期照片），发至本活动指定电子邮箱（见下），或将打印稿直接交给联系人。
四、录取流程：
　　我们将对报名者进行审核，于2011年9月18～22日以电子邮件、手机短信或电话等方式通知录取。
五、报到时间：
　　接到录取通知后请于2011年10月1日08：00—15：00，持个人有效证件（限于皈依证、身份证、护照）到北京龙泉寺客堂报到。
六、注意事项：
　　1. 寺院内食宿全程免费；
　　2. 请自觉遵守寺院各堂口规约；
　　3. 在接到录取通知后，因故不能按时参加者，请及时与本次多语种活动联络人沟通；
　　4. 洗漱用具等基本生活用品请自备（寺院可提供脸盆）；
　　5. 山上早晚温差大，气温普遍比市区低3～4℃，请注意添加衣服；

附2：北京龙泉寺交通路线图及说明

1．若自驾车，于三环路苏州桥处北行，过万泉河路、圆明园西路（中国农业大学西校）、永丰路北行，至永丰乡西拐沿北清路西行，过六环路后，北拐沿温北路直行，见凤凰岭指路牌西拐，至凤凰岭自然风景公园，入东门直行约三百米即到龙泉寺。

2．乘公交车至颐和园，或乘地铁4号线至西苑站后西行至颐和园，然后换乘346路公交车至凤凰岭总站下车，向前直行入凤凰岭自然风景公园，继续直行约三百米即到寺院。

Life of Wisdom: Multilingual Activities at Beijing Longquan Monastery  

2nd~6th October, 2011 ( China National Day Golden Week)  

Language enthusiasts, do you want to spend an interesting, meaningful October Golden Week in the golden season of autumn? Have you ever thought about your own life—for what you were born and to what you live up? Or, facing pressures and confusions in life, do you desire to obtain the wisdom to go beyond them? Friends, come to join us at the foothills of Beijing Phoenix Ridge—Longquan Monastery, where we will start for a spiritual journey. It’s bound for the growth in our compassion and wisdom!  

During the National Day Golden Week of 2011, we will hold a series of unique culture experiencing activities, such as multilingual chanting of sutras, life in monastery, dialogues with monastics, meditation training, talks on the theme of life, watching and discussions of multilingual movies, good deeds practice in the open air, worshipping Buddha on a mountain road, passing the wisdom lights, etc. These intensive and fascinating activities, arranged for the better understanding of the purpose, meaning and style of life, as well as the question of life and death, will combine the life wisdom of the Buddha (inherited for more than 2000 years) with modern life. These activities aim to bring light, joy, peace and bright future to you!

3. Terms and Conditions of Enrolment:

1) Scope of Enrolment: foreign language enthusiasts

2) The participants should be sound in body and mind, without acute or infectious disease.

3) Participants prepared to attend all the activities from 2nd~6th October are preferred.

4) Applicants should fill in the registration form (enclosed with your recent photograph), and email it to DharmaAssembly@gmail.com, or print and present the form to the contact persons.

4. Process of enrolment:

After approval from the organizers, an email, SMS or phone call will be sent to you to inform the enrolment from 18th to 22nd, September.

5. Time for enrolment:

Please register at the Reception of Longquan Monastery from 8 am. to 3 pm. on Oct. 1st. Please bring your certificates with you (ID card, passport, or refuge-taking certificate).

6. Matters needing attention

1) Free accommodation in the monastery;

2) Please keep to the regulations in the monastery;

3) After receiving the notification of admission, if you can’t attend for other reasons, please notify us ASAP.

4) Please bring with you the basic toiletries for daily use (there are basins in the monastery).

5) If you apply by sending an email, please paste your photo on the application form.
