越南全国最大佛塔—Lien Hoa塔在越美拖市动工

据越南新闻网报道，近日，预计花费120亿越币，被认为是越南最大佛塔的Lien Hoa塔工程在越南前江省南部美拖市的Truong Sanh 寺动工。

据悉，六角形设计的Lien Hoa 塔高为40米，包括底层，共有十层。

Truong Sanh 寺行政理事会人员表示，Lien Hoa 塔的最底层将被用来停放僧人和贫穷工人埋葬前的棺椁。而第九层将被用来朝拜Xa Loi 佛和举办各种相关的宗教活动。

据说，此塔将于2010年完工。（编译：子规）

Construction of the Lien Hoa tower, believed to be the largest in Vietnam, at a cost of VND12 billion has started at a pagoda in My Tho City in the southern province of Tien Giang.

The 40m tower will be built to a hexagonal design and have 10 storeys, including the ground floor.

The administrative council of Truong Sanh pagoda said that the ground floor will be reserved for laying out the coffins of both Buddhists and poor workers before they are buried. The ninth storey will be for worshipping the Xa Loi Buddha and other related religious activities, it said.

The building is expected to be completed by 2010.
