泰国文化部部长鼓励人们认识皈依仪式的内涵

据泰国国家新闻局报道，近日，泰国文化部鼓励泰国人们把皈依仪式看做是对父母的感恩，不要忘记仪式背后的寓意。

泰国文化部部长 Mr.Teera Slukpetch 表示，在佛教四月斋节和Asalha Puja Day 之前，有大量的年轻人出家为僧，年轻人应秉持皈依之目的。据媒体报道，有些人与访客饮酒，这是不合适的行为。皈依仪式的目的就是在成为佛教徒的前一天，对父母感恩，向访客祈求原谅。

他还号召全国的人民利用这些重要的佛教节日来做好事，参加由国家文化部和佛教组织在7月5日到7日举办的包括禁酒运动在内的各种活动。

据悉，泰国的皈依仪式要举行三天。（编译：子规）

Culture Ministry encourages people realize the main purpose of ordination
BANGKOK, 1 July 2009 (NNT) – The Ministry of Culture encourages Thai people to regard ordination ceremonies as paying gratitude to parents and not forget the reasoning behind the occasion.

Culture Minister Mr.Teera Slukpetch said that before the Buddhist lent and Asalha Puja Day numerous young men were ordained as Buddhist monks, and should remain focused on the purpose of the ordination. It has been reported that some men would drink alcohol with their guests which is not appropriate. The ordination purpose was to pay gratitude to parents and to ask for forgiveness from guests before becoming a Buddhist monk the following day.

People nationwide should use these important occasions of Buddhism to perform good deeds and participate in activities, which will be organized by the Culture Ministry and Buddhism network during July 5 to 7, including the campaign against alcohol consumption.
