弘扬佛教优良传统 共创和谐新世界

佛教博大精深的思想内涵教导我们要学会净化心灵、自他不二、慈悲无我、感恩报恩、包容和尊重异己,建立平等无我之心。我们要传播和弘扬这些具有中华民族特色的佛教优良传统,为共创和谐新世界发挥积极作用。

佛教是源出于印度的宗教,但并没有像印度那样局限于自己的民族,而是成为不同民族的共同信仰,得到了世界人民的共许。佛教之所以能够超越国家,超越民族,在于佛教以其智慧启发众生、净化人类的心灵、制止和消除人类的暴力行为,发扬和平精神推动着社会和谐、世界和平的进程。佛教的这些优良传统传播到中国后,与中华民族的传统文化相结合,更加增强了中华民族彼此的认同感。这些优良传统在促进社会和谐,维护世界和平的事业中增添了更多的力量。

人与人因为有我而争执,种族之间因不平等而冲突,宗教与宗教因不能互相尊重包容而摩擦,国家之间自然是为了利益而大动干戈。由此可见,世界上的一切不愉快,多是由于缺少和善、尊重、平等、没有实践佛教众缘和合的理念所招致。因此,我们要根治世界的乱源,让人们生活在和谐安宁的环境中,就从实践佛教的净化心灵、自他不二、慈悲无我、感恩报恩、尊重平等的优良传统开始,要传播和弘扬这些具有中华民族特色的佛教优良传统,为共创和谐新世界发挥积极作用。

一、净化心灵 人心和善 家庭和乐

彻底净化自心,清除一切粗细烦恼的污染和无明的遮蔽,令心识本具的清净光明像烈日驱散阴云般朗然显现,从而解脱一切痛苦,获得圆满的自我实现,是佛教所有修证法门的核心。佛教认为,人类的种种苦难(如烦恼、争斗等)主要来源于自身的贪欲心、怒心和愚痴心,即所谓“三毒”。同时,这“三毒”也是人类身、口、意等一切恶行的根源。按照佛教的说法,贪欲是对名声、财物等己所爱好的东西没有满足的一种精神作用;怒是对不合己意的有情生起憎恨,从而使自己身心不得安宁的一种精神作用;愚痴是指愚昧无知、不明事理的一种精神作用。这些精神作用的扩张,使得人类相互间争夺不已、仇恨不已,以至永远不知道解脱苦难的真正道路在哪里。佛教教导人们要“勤修戒定慧,息灭贪痴”,就是要人们通过戒定慧的自我修养,去除贪欲心、怒心和愚痴心,净化自己的心灵。只有个人心平气和,心灵和善,才有家庭的平静和睦。我们的心是世界的源头与主导,“心安众生安”,众生心灵若得净化,人心和善了,我们的家庭氛围就会跟着变的和乐,社会也会自然祥和。

二、自他不二 人际和顺

在人与人之间的关系上,佛教主张“自他不二”,就是从缘起法则观察人与人、人与社会的关系,认为每个人的生存都有赖于他人和社会,人与人互相依存,密切关联。佛教主张一种最广大的平等观,讲“是法平等,无有高下”(《金刚经》),认为强弱、富贫、大小、上下互相之间应该理解、谅解、宽容,彼此之间应该互相尊重,建立互信与合作。我们每一个人都希望受到尊重,当你的内心充满了爱,充分尊重每一个人时,不管走到哪里,你都会散发出和善、慈悲、祥和的氛围与磁场。所以,当一个人以爱己之心去爱他人时,我们的人际关系也会变的和顺。这种和合共生、自他不二的主张对于今天建立人与人之间的和谐合作关系具有非常积极的意义。

三、 慈悲无我 社会和睦

佛教认为,人人皆有佛性,人人本性清净,众生与佛本无差别。如有差别,则在于一迷一悟,迷即众生,悟即是佛。而所谓悟的根本内容,就是能“自净其心”。只有内心平和与安定,才有外在的和谐与安宁。内有不和的心因,外就有不和的事缘,彼此互相影响,推波助澜,才会形成种种冲突、暴力乃至战争。《金刚经》云:“无我相,无人相,无众生相,无寿者相。”“我”是纷争的根源。人类往往因为执着于“我”的看法、“我”的财富、“我”的利益、“我”的名位,因“我”而自私,因“我”而执着,因“我”而爱染,因“我”而纷争,“我”之一念之心,令人永不安宁。因此,欲求世界的和平,必须无我,无我才能大公,大公才能无私,无私才能和平。第二次世界大战末期,美国总统罗斯福问太虚大师:“如何才能和平?”大师回道:“慈悲无我。”所以想要求得和平,正本清源之道,首先要消除心中的我执,让自己的内心变得和善。佛教从这一方面来促使我们各自摈弃私见私欲,以博大的胸怀,视他人为已,视万物与我为一体,从而去共同维系社会的和谐。

四、感恩报恩 文明和谐

佛教认为世间的一切,无不产生自因与缘的结合。此物同时也是另一物生成的因或缘,万物是相互依存、互为因果的。对于恩的看法,比起由上对下的施恩观念,佛教更强调相互间的感恩与报恩。佛教提倡敬侍“三福田”、强调报“四重恩”,即恭敬佛法僧“敬田”报答父母师长“恩田”,怜悯贫者病苦“悲田”。并报答“父母恩、众生恩、国土恩、三宝恩”。从报恩来看,一个人来到世间,首先是父母的生养哺育,才能长大成人。因此,要“报父母恩”。有了这种观念,就会有和睦的家庭、孝顺的儿女。作为一个社会的人,我们的衣食住行,无不来自众生之因,我们每天的工作、劳动、都是对众生的报答。有了“报众生恩”的思想,才会有人与人的平等观念,才会互相关爱,共建文明的社会。“报国土恩”,就是要爱国,报答生养我们的国家。对佛教来说,佛、法、僧三宝使人们取得智慧、证得菩提、获得解脱,因此,三宝之恩不可不报。从以上可以看出,佛教教导的报四重恩,是教育我们从内心深处建立感恩、报恩的观念,和善对待一切,与建设和谐社会是一致的。

所有人类、所有动物都是靠地球、大自然的养育才能存在,而各种动物也都在直接或间接的帮助着人类,默默为人类做着贡献。如果我们每时每刻都能善待大自然,善待这个养育我们的地球,善待与我们人类相关的各种动物、水、空气、能源、一草一木等,我们就会自觉地像保护自己的眼睛一样,保护我们赖以生存的环境。如果我们每个人都能认识到,我们任何生命个体的生存离不开各行各业的人的辛苦劳动,因此,任何个体离开社会都无法生存,更谈不上个体生命的完善。这就决定了任何人都不可能仅仅独善其身,要追求个体生命的完善,必须同时积极促进他人即全人类的共同完善,将个人生命的完善建立在人类社会的共同进步与发展之中。这样,我们就能以平等心、感恩心与各种动物和我们的大自然和谐共存了。

五、 尊重平等 世界和平

佛教认为人与世间万物都有着重重无尽的缘起关系,共存于宇宙大网中,世界是一个普遍联系的有机整体,“此有故彼有,此生故彼生,此无故彼无,此灭故彼灭”,万物互为缘起,相辅相成、和合共生;有情生命依各自的业力轮回于六道,在求生和追寻安宁幸福方面完全一致,佛性上也是平等的。故佛教要求戒杀放生,善待一切生灵,人类之间更要相互关心、和平共处。

我们要学会包容异己、尊重异己,把我们的胸襟扩大到全世界,把我们的爱散播到全世界,这样才能逐渐减少人与人之间的疏远、隔膜、欺骗和仇恨,友爱、包容、互助和欢笑将充溢人间,世界也将成为一家。未来的恒久和谐,需要我们踏实践行佛教的智慧、慈悲、平等、一体精神,以无私无畏的气概、以推己及人的胸襟,置身于社会洪流之中,自行化他、普度众生,凝聚全社会之力,共建和谐美好世界。

当今世界,许多人心烦意乱、心浮气躁,要发挥佛教的思想资源,调心、摄心、安心。静心去沉思,用心去祈盼,以内心的平和与安定来带动外界的和谐与安定。心净则佛土净,心安则众生安,心平则天下平。心无挂碍,则无有恐怖,远离颠倒妄想。人们只有从自我发心开始,从心净、心安、心平开始,从平等心、无我心、慈悲心开始,由“心动”而“行动”,才能追求和而不同、求同存异、各美其美的境界。

佛教讲和合,和顺,把“和”作为万事万物生成与存在发展的基本机制,这对中国文化产生了深刻的影响。佛教认为世间一切乃众缘和合而成,众生相处也是以和为基础。佛教传入中国后,与原有的儒家文化和民族宗教——道教发生过礼仪、教义和理论等方面的严重冲突和争论。但与此同时,佛教也积极吸收了中国本土儒家与道教的东西,使自己适应于中国的文化环境。因此,佛教不仅在中国这个多民族国家生存了下来,而且得到了极大的发展,以致成为中国文化有机体中不可分割的一个组成部分。长期以来,在宗教信仰自由政策的引导下,佛教信众与其它宗教群体之间,相互尊重、和睦相处,并在中华民族本土化的进程中,扬己之长,弃己之短;改造自己,也改造别人;融入别人也被别人融入,这种和合与传播和发扬佛教净化心灵、自他不二、慈悲无我、感恩报恩、尊重平等这些优良传统是分不开的。

在世界,佛教对于各国的思想文化、社会文化乃至因佛教形成的社会风俗在历史上产生了极其深远的影响。佛教由印度传播到亚洲各国,并先后在亚洲各国生根、开花、结果的历史中得到深刻的印象。佛教在传入这些国家后,虽然也与该国家的原有民族文化和宗教发生过各种矛盾和冲突,但从未发生过用佛教去消灭和替代该国家的原有民族文化和宗教,而是不断地使自己适应该国家民族的文化环境,与该国家的原有民族文化和宗教开展对话,和平相处。佛教的这种民族融合功能,充分表现了佛教作为一种世界宗教的超越性,有助于增进世界人民彼此的认同感。

世界呼唤慈爱,人类倡导平等。永恒的和谐、不朽的安宁,成为千百年来人类梦寐以求的美景。世界和平的伟大事业,不是一个人、一个家庭、一个民族、一个社会、一个国家、一种信仰的事情,而是全世界、全人类共同的事业。佛教在长期历史发展中孕育形成的优良传统,有着跨越时间和空间的质量,其博大精深的思想内涵教导我们要学会净化心灵、自他不二、慈悲无我、感恩报恩、包容和尊重异己,建立平等无我之心。这些优良传统指引着我们为社会和谐、世界和平奉献着力量。因此,我们要弘扬、丰富和发展佛教优良传统,与世界人民一起创建和谐新世界!

Carrying Forward the Fine Traditions of Buddhism to Create a Harmonious World

Abstract: Buddhism profound ideological content taught us to learn how to purify the soul, since his choice, without mercy me, Thanksgiving gratitude, tolerance and respect for opponents, set up my heart without equal. Buddhism is derived from India's religion, but has not been confined to their own ethnic groups among the people in the world. Buddhism has been able to go beyond country, beyond the nation because it's able to purify the human soul, the suppression and elimination of violence against humanity, to promote peace in the spirit of promoting social harmony and world peace process. After these fine traditions of Buddhism had been spread to China, combining with the Chinese nation's traditional culture , that has strengthen the Chinese nation's sense of identity. These fine traditions in the promotion of social harmony, has added more strength to the work on the cause of safeguarding of world peace .

Persons have always a dispute between racial inequality and conflict, religion and religion because they can not accommodate mutual respect and friction between the country are for the benefit of natural to conflict. It goes to show that all is unpleasant in the world many are due to the lack of good, respect, equality, and without the practice of Buddhism, the concept of public geo-Hop incurred. V.To Respect for equality ,to create world peace

Buddhism believes that man and the world have much untold origin of the relationship between co-existence in the universe network, the world is a common associated organic as a whole.Origin of all things to each other, complementary, symbiotic harmony; love life according to their karma and reincarnation in six ways, in the pursuit of survival and happy aspects of the peace is exactly the same Buddha,which is also equal.
